Edward Peters is an accredited educational facilities planner Based in Seattle, WA.

For more than 20 years, he served as Capital Projects Director for the Edmonds School District; prior to this, he held a similar position with the Mount Vernon School District. In those positions, he oversaw all phases of numerous new construction and facilities upgrade projects, totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. His projects have received wide-spread regional, national, and international recognition, and are often toured by other school districts.

In addition to this work, Edward chaired the Seattle Public Schools citizen’s construction oversight committee for 10 years. He has written and presented extensively on using physical facilities to support best learning practices. He is a member of the international Accredited Learning Environments Planner (ALEP) Commission, which is responsible for granting that credential. In 2020, he was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by The Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) , their highest individual honor.
